Naira Publishing Imprints

Naira Publishers boasts three imprints — Naira Books, Kobo Books, and Cowrie Books. Through different operational processes, these three unique imprints cater to the tastes of diverse writers. Through our imprints, we ensure that no writer is left behind in their quests to put their books in the hands of readers.

Naira Books

Naira Books is the traditional publishing imprint of Naira Publishers. Through this imprint, we solicit manuscripts and handle the editing, publishing, publicity, distribution, and marketing of the books. In turn, the authors published under this imprint receive royalties for their works as agreed in the contractual document that clearly states the terms of engagement. Books published under this imprint are mostly fiction and nonfiction that we think are worthy of our investments.

Kobo Books

Kobo Books is our self-publishing imprint, through which we publish all kinds of books — genre fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry, children’s books, motivational books, educational books, and the like — with the condition that the author pays for the editing, printing, packaging, distribution and marketing services. However, the Kobo Books logo will be used in publishing the book, and the same standards employed in publishing our traditional imprints will be deployed in giving the book the best quality it deserves.

Cowrie Books

Many writers express themselves through long-form writings that are not within the standard word counts of novella and novel. This is where our traditional imprint, Cowrie Books, comes in. Cowrie Books caters to fiction within 15,000 – 17,000 words. Books under this imprint are published three times a year — January, May, and September. Through this imprint, we solicit manuscripts and handle the editing, publishing, publicity, distribution, and marketing of the book. In turn, the authors published under this imprint receive payment for their works, as agreed in the contractual document that clearly states the terms of engagement.
