Naira Publishers, a subsidiary of Alumona Media Limited, is a Nigerian independent book publisher with a passion to put good, affordable books in the hands of everyone. We are aware of the expansion in the creative and literary spaces, with a few innovative platforms to harness the talent driving them. There are more writers than ever before on social media, blogs, netzones, magazines, newspapers, and other media seeking professional outlets to publish their works. This is where Naira Publishers comes in. We understand the challenges that most Nigerian and African writers face in finding publishers for their work. To this end, we cater to all categories of writers and their works through our three publishing imprints — Naira Books, our traditional publishing outlet; Kobo Books, our self-publishing outlet; and Cowrie Books, our long-form (15,000 – 17,000 words) fiction publishing outlet.
Naira Publishers is one of the very few book publishers in Nigeria that is passionate about the development of writers and creatives, as well as the development of the creative ecosystem.
