Kobo Books is our self-publishing imprint that offers authors — who have written books less sought by mainstream traditional publishers — the opportunity to get published while bearing the cost of editing, publishing, printing, and marketing, but also while leveraging our creative and professional services in all these stages of production.
Here, we publish all kinds of books — genre fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry, children’s books, motivational books, educational books, and the like. Our services also include typesetting, layout, cover design, illustration, indexing, and printing of the book. Whether you want your book published in an eBook, paperback, or hardcover, we have you covered. Submissions guidelines
Kobo Books accepts manuscripts all year round. We accept completed or almost completed manuscripts from authors for consideration, and such manuscripts should be in line with our submission guidelines.
Your manuscript should adhere to the following formatting style: double-spaced, indented paragraphs, justified text, Times New Roman font type with a font size of 12pt.
Send your manuscript to us as an attachment to kobobooks@nairapublishers.com. In your email, indicate the genre or type of work you are sending to us, your short biography (not more than 150 words) and other information that might help us assess the manuscript well.
If your manuscript interests us and we agree to work with you to publish it, we will send you the cost of producing and publishing the book according to your taste. Once we agree on the cost, we will begin work on the manuscript. After concluding work on the manuscript, before we publish or print, the final edited and designed copy will be sent to you to review and approve for publication and printing.
Finally, once you are satisfied with our work on your manuscript and fulfil your term of the contract, we will start the production of the book.
