Through our Naira Books imprint, we take risks for books worth taking risks for. From the day you submit your manuscript to us for consideration to the day it is published, we stand with you to make it the best.
Naira Books is interested mostly in fiction and nonfiction. We accept manuscript submissions from January 1st to February 28th, and from June 1st to July 30th. When we receive your submission, our editorial team will review it within two months of your submission. If we are interested in the manuscript, we will notify you about our interest in publishing it.
Submissions Guidelines
Only one submission per writer is allowed. Multiple submissions will be discarded.
We are interested mostly in fiction and nonfiction.
Attach a one-page synopsis of the work you are submitting in a Microsoft Word document. Please include all major plot points in your synopsis, including spoilers, and especially the ending.
Attach the first three chapters or the first three stories of your manuscript in a Microsoft Word document.
Your manuscript should adhere to the following formatting style: double-spaced, indented paragraphs, justified text. Times New Roman font type with a font size of 12pt.
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we may not be able to respond to you immediately.
Send us your manuscript via nairabooks@nairapublishers.com. The subject of your submission should read ‘Title of your work’ followed by ‘the author’s name’
